  • Safety Pin – In debugging, installation, and transportation, safety pins are required to prevent improper operation.
  • Junction Box – For better wiring and improved product aesthetics.
  • Other – Circuit boards, coils, etc.

Working Principle

When the thermal element reaches the rated temperature value, the spring loading rod installed inside the subject is released.

The spring moves a cylindrical shaped magnet, mounted at the other end of the rod, through an induction coil.

The induction coil generates an electrical pulse, which is then transmitted to the fire-extinguishing device connected to it.

After receiving the current, the fire extinguishing device will automatically start.

Remark: The product has an O-shaped pull ring, and the manual pull ring is used to ensure safety and facilitate manual operation.

Applications and Limitations

The application scope of this product is mainly in some special fields, with applicability and limitations, as shown below:

  • The application scope is in special fire protection fields, such as fire extinguishers that do not require external power but require temperature control and which electricity to start.
  • It is best not to exceed 20 cubic meters of volume for a single thermal activation generator/device.
  • This device can withstand up to a 4g force with a duration of 2 to 50 milliseconds.
  • The modification device is generally installed below the ceiling or on the wall, at a distance of 150mm.
  • This product can come with a junction box and can be used for fire detection and activation in hazardous areas.
  • Its maximum relative humidity is greater than or equal to 95% (non-condensing).
  • The product comes with a safety pin that needs to be gently removed after installation.
  • The installation work of the product requires technical personnel or those who understand the circuit to complete, and personnel should be able to identify the circuit and relay feedback.
